Coming from Nürnberg: Exit Autobahn A9 at Allershausen, and take the direction of Freising. At the city limit of Freising turn right into Lise-Meitner-Straße. The institute is located at the end of the road (approximately 500 m).
Coming from Deggendorf: Exit Autobahn A92 at Freising-Mitte, then follow Ismaninger Straße for approximately 800 m and turn left into the direction of Freising. After having crossed Isar river turn right on Bundesstraße 11 (Münchner Straße), which brings you into Freising. In Freising turn left into Saarstraße, follow this street until the intersection with signposts to Weihenstephan (Vöttinger Straße). Make a left turn, and, after approximately 200 m, turn right into Thalhauser Straße. Go straight ahead for 1.5 km, turn left into Grießfeldstraße and after 200 m turn right into Lise-Meitner-Straße. The institute is located at the end of the road (approximately 500 m).
Coming from Salzburg: At Autobahnkreuz München Nord change from Autobahn A99 to Autobahn A9 (direction Nürnberg) and then at Autobahnkreuz Neufahrn to Autobahn A92 (direction Deggendorf). Use exit Freising Süd and change to the main road to Freising (Bundesstraße 11). In Freising turn left into Saarstraße, follow this street until the intersection with signposts to Weihenstephan (Vöttinger Straße). Vom Munich International Airport (MUC) either take a taxi directly to the institute (approximately 40 Euro) or take the bus 635 starting form the lower level central area between Terminals 1 and 2 to Freising ("Freising (S)"). At Freising bus terminal change to bus 638 direction Hittostraße/Hohenbachern. Exit at the bus stop "Am Mitterfeld", walk across the pedestrian bridge, hold left at the school and see the institute building after about 100 m to the right.

From the hall of Munich central station either take a local/regional train stopping at Freising (duration 23 min) or go to the S-Bahn in the lower level of the station and take a S-Bahn train S1 to Freising (duration 41 min). Enter the front part of the train because the rear part goes to the airport. At Freising go to the bus terminal next to the train station and take the bus 638 direction Hittostraße/Hohenbachern. Exit at the bus stop "Am Mitterfeld", walk across the pedestrian bridge, hold left at the school and see the institute building after about 100 m to the right.
